Havelock Island or Swaraj Island is a most popular Island in Andaman. It’s a wonderful paradise of white beaches, lush green forests, amazing aquatic life and beautiful coral reefs. It has three awesome beaches Radhanagar Beach, Vijayanagar Beach and Elephant Beach. Barren Island

Do you know Barren Island houses India’s only active volcano? Located in the active tectonic plates in the Andaman Sea, Barren Island is one of the most unique tourist attractions that you can ever behold. No one is allowed to visit this island; one can only see it from far. The last volcano erupted here around the year 1994-95. From your ship you will witness the enchanting sight of a smoking volcano. Uninhabited by humans as the name suggests, this place will enrich your travel experience to a different level. You will also need a visiting permit from the forest department.

An historical tour to the land of beautiful beaches is not a bad idea, isn’t it? Cellular Jail is one of the best tourist places to visit in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. It is a place where the dark past of Indian freedom struggle and the first war of independence comes alive. Known as ‘Kalapani’ it was constructed by the Britishers in 1906 to torture and exile Indian freedom fighters. It was constructed to keep only an individual in each cell for the purpose of solitary confinement so that the prisoner would not be able to communicate with one another. 

Jolly Buoy Island – For Beautiful Coral Reefs

Ecologically preserved and less crowded, Serene, and beautiful – Jolly Buoy Island is a paradise of joyful vistas. It is one of the cleanest tourist attractions of Andaman. After reaching here you will be mesmerized by its cleanliness, tranquil vibes, beautiful coral reefs and stunning forests. One side of the Island is open to a cliff which ends in water. So, don’t stand at the edge of the jungle.

 

The beauty of the coral reefs found here is unparalleled with the other coral reefs found in the tourist attractions of Andaman. This island comes under Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. You will need a visiting permit to enter this Island.

If you are eager to watch a million stars in the dark sea water of Andamans, we would suggest night kayaking that offers the unique experience of watching the rare and stunning phenomenon of bioluminescence. The tiny, speckled stars and galaxies twinkle and shine under your feet as well as overhead. Away from the shores of Havelock Island as the water glows like a million fireflies, you get transported to a fanciful world. This unique phenomenon occurs on account of the presence of phytoplankton in the water that is a specialty of this locality.

Dolphin Boat Ride

Dolphin Ride is similar to glass-bottom boat ride where the bottom of the boat is fitted with a giant tough glass for you to see the underwater marine life as the boat glides through the coral reefs slowly and steadily. The Boat is named Dolphin and is a speed boat made with Russian technology. The climax of the tour is reached when you are given a short speed ride after the coral watch. Per person cost would be around 1800 for a single ride for about half an hour. It is recommended only for those who have not been able to go for a snorkeling or scuba diving.

Scuba diving is a beautiful water sport activity that mesmerizes you with the unfolding of the dark deep mysteries of the underwater world.
